The Inner Workout Wednesdays, continues

The Sahaja Meditation program continues. By popular demand the group will continue to meet on Wednesday at 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm through June 13. New members welcome.

Sahaja Meditation is a simple, time honored technique which helps increase wellness and decrease stress by way of a natural. living process of awakening one's own internal energy. Please join us for a guided meditation with instruction. Handouts will be available for continued practice at home. Anyone can do it and it is always free. Sahaja Meditation is a not-for-profit, offering free spiritual meditation guidance in more than 75 countries. Please contact the library at 657-4110 or stop by the Circulation Desk for details.

Tuesday, May 22 6:30-8:00 pm Beginning Genealogy Part One: Getting Started

Does the thought of researching your family tree overwhelm you? Don't let it, it's easier than you think. Genealogist Nancy Critchley Mason from the Gray Historical Society will offer guidance on how to begin, the first steps before you start your research at libraries, historical societies, town and city halls and online. Nancy will talk about organizing, interviews, charts and forms, and what you can expect to find online. Plenty of time for questions too. Spring has sprung and we are gearing up for summer

As the kids get ready to break from school for the summer we are getting ready to transition from our regular story time to summer reading. This year the theme is Dream Big! Mrs. George is working on some fun programs to keep school kids reading throughout the summer months. Stay tuned to this space and our Facebook page for updates or contact the library at 657-4110 for details.

Last story time before summer reading will be on Friday, June 8 at 10:30 am.

Summer Reading sign up will be all week from June 19 - June 23.

Free Access to ancestry.com

Did you know that you can access ancestry.com for free at the library? The genealogy site is now available through the MARVEL databases from any library computer or from your laptop when you are connected to the library's wifi network. Online Job Searching Tools

Information Commons can be accessed from either your home computer or any of the library's public access computers. This is a great online tool filled with the resources you need when searching for jobs and help with resume and cover letter writing, plus lots more..
